Cherie Del Carlo is an engaging and innovative business, systems and people strategist. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from U.C. Santa Cruz, Cherie kicked off her career applying ethnography to study middle school learning environments with the goal of creating a community of practice for teachers who use video portfolios to expand their professional development.

Grounded in how people learn and share information, Cherie then held successively more responsible and complex customer-facing roles in the corporate software industry here in Silicon Valley. Desiring to advance her corporate experience, Cherie earned a Masters of Science in Organization Development and began leveraging her knowledge of business software systems and experience delivering solution-oriented customer service to drive change communications initiatives in organizations like BART and Cisco.

In 2009, Cherie co-founded Gather Your Crowd, a social media consultancy, where she enjoys applying her creative thinking and problem resolution skills in putting social technologies to work as conduits for meaningful interaction and commercial exchange in the forms of employee engagement, marketing, branding and communications. Cherie has presented on different social media topics at San Jose State University, Stanford University and U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Among her skills and talents, Cherie is passionate about the spirit of inclusivity, freedom of expression and establishing relevance for the change agent in each of us.

Cherie also serves as Director for the South Bay Organization Development Network (SBODN), a community of Silicon Valley change leaders who drive effectiveness and engagement in the organizations they serve.

Jeff Richardson has 13 years of experience developing project leaders at bay area universities, Fortune 50 companies, high-tech startups and now internationally with Project Connections.  Jeff’s engineering and OD background combined with an expertise using experiential teambuilding activities makes his collaborative networking and project leadership programs highly engaging and technically relevant. 

The Secrets of Successful Networking keynotes and workshops have made the process of building an influential network easier and a whole lot more FUN.  Innovative networking activities is one of the unique strengths that Jeff brings to the SBODN community and its events.

His As an educator, Jeff was one of the lead designers for Stanford’s Advanced Project Management Program, in addition to designing/teaching project leadership programs at San Jose State and UC Santa Cruz – Extension.  Jeff wrote the book on project team startup at a Fortune 50 company in addition to consulting with hundreds of technical teams and teaching leadership skills for project managers at companies like Cisco, Intuit, Texas Instruments, the City of San Jose and Santa Clara County to name a few.  

His degrees include a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in OD & Change Management.
